The Offices of the Cosmic Initiatic University of Yok’hah Maya are located at Lol Be, a private Maya Ceremonial, Cultural & Educational Center in Yucatan, Mexico. Situated halfway between the regional capital of Merida and the world-famous Maya site of Chichen Itza, in the Xocchel municipio, Lol Be is surrounded by tropical forests of the Yucatan plateau. Two excellent modern highways give ready access, 45 minutes from Merida and 2 hours from Cancun. Lol Be in Mayan means “Flower Way” or “Road of the Flower.” This quiet property in the countryside has large trees, colorful flowers, native fruits, and natural caves. A large ceremonial center is entered via a white road (sac be) leading to a pyramid arch, through which the equinox sun rises. In the cleared circle, a paved Maya cross on the ground (large enough for hundreds of people to stand) provides the sacred geometry for ceremonies. This sacred geometry awakens our memories and reconnects us to ancient wisdom. A smaller ceremonial area surrounds a ceiba tree, Maya symbol for the structure of the three worlds. Under the branches of a huge ancient Flamboyan tree, a new building houses classroom, yoga veranda, offices, and restrooms. The renovated, 100-year old rancho house serves as a residence and cultural center. Other guest housing is under construction. In the city of Merida, the University utilizes a privately-owned teaching facility near the Centro (center of town). This facility has a classroom, lawn for yoga and ceremonies, and expansive verandas bordering pool and fountain for relaxation.
